1. How can the Edpuzzle you completed in the previous assignment guide you as you progress through this program?

The Edpuzzle highlighted key tips for success in the program in alignment with the goals and policies of Moreland University.

2. How can the information you discovered in the Course Catalog and Candidate Handbook guide you as you progress through this program?

The Course catalog and candidate handbook will be the first resource I look to for questions regarding the curriculum and/or administration for the TEACH NOW program.

3. How can the InTASC Standards and Clinical Rubric guide you as you progress through this program?

The InTASC standards outline the four main categories of professional standards for

K-12 classroom teachers: The learner and Learning, content, instructional practice, and professional responsibility (Moreland University, 2024).

The Learner and Learning which has three standards relevant to learner development (standard 1), Learning differences (standard 2), and learning environments (standard 3).

The second category focuses on content that is aligned with content knowledge (standard 4) and application of content (standard 5).

Category three outlines standards related to instructional practice:  assessment(6), planning for instruction(7), and instructional strategies(8).

The fourth category of standards is on professional responsibility of the teacher in a K-12 classroom setting: professional learning and ethical practice (9), leadership and collaboration (10) .

The clinical rubric elaborates on the range of assessment for meeting the InTASC standards in the practice of teaching. These two documents are the benchmarks of assessment for completion of the certificate program as well as foundations for a holistic teaching practice.
